The first meeting of the consultation framework for off-grid electrification stakeholders in Burkina Faso took place on February 16, 2023, in Ouagadougou. This capacity-building activity for the stakeholders is organized within the framework of the Project “Support to Rural Electrification through Renewable Energy Systems in the LIPTAKO GOURMA region – Pilot Phase” implemented by the ECOWAS Centre for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (ECREEE) and financed by UNDP.
In the sidelines of this meeting and as an implementing stakeholder, ECREEE also participated in the launching of the Burkina Faso National Project within the framework of the African Mini-Grids Program, funded by GEF/UNDP.
