ECREEE is organizing the third Solar PV Installer Certification Exam in Senegal

The ECOWAS Centre for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (ECREEE), in collaboration with Ecole Supérieure Polytechnique, will be conducting the third Certification Exam for solar photovoltaic off-grid system technicians (level 1) in Dakar, Senegal. This certification is aimed at improving the quality in solar photovoltaic equipment installations, while raising quality standards and end-user satisfaction. Among other benefits, certified technicians can benefit from professional mobility throughout the ECOWAS region.

Professionals (electricians and electromechanics, power engineers, etc.) and electricians with at least 2 years’ of experience, are eligible for the certification, which includes both theoretical and practical exams. The certification exam will take place from 11 – 15 November at Ecole Supérieure Polytechnique in Dakar Polytechnic, Senegal.
