ECREEE at the 9th ERERA Forum

ECREEE participates in the 9^th Forum of the ECOWAS Regional Electricity Sector Regulatory Authority (ERERA) on 24 and 25 July 2024 in Accra, Ghana.

During the Forum entitled: “Electricity Trade Security in ECOWAS Region: the interplay between National Policies and Free Market Principle”, Mr. Francis SEMPORE, ECREEE Executive Director, presented the Challenges of integrating renewable energies into the regional electricity mix.

ERERA’s 9^th forum aims to answer the questions raised by the need to pursue the integration of national electricity markets through harmonizing rules and practices while ensuring electricity security and stability for Member states.
