Discover the ECREEE Annual Report 2024
In 2024, ECREEE pursued its mission of Promoting Sustainable Energy in West Africa based on its Strategic Plan 2023-2027, which was validated by ECREEE’s ECOWAS-Donor Consultation Committee in November 2022 and adopted by the ECOWAS Ministers in charge of Energy in March 2023. During 2024, ECREEE carried out its activities in accordance with the approved annual work plan, through programs and projects with a high socio-economic impact, and this report details the activities carried out and the results achieved, while highlighting the challenges ahead.
In 2025, ECREEE will celebrate its 15th anniversary as part of the 50th anniversary of ECOWAS. With the support of its partners, the Centre will reinforce its action to promote Sustainable Energy, and will commission a mid-term review of the implementation of its 2023-2027 Strategic Plan as part of its continuous improvement mechanism.
