The ECOWAS Centre for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (ECREEE) is collaborating with the International Network of Solar Technology and Application Resource Centres (STAR C) and the Alliance for Rural Electrification (ARE) are partnering to support training on “regional solar energy qualification frameworks and curricula” in the ECOWAS region. STAR C is a joint initiative between the International Solar Alliance (ISA) and UNIDO, with funding support from the government of France. The first phase of the STAR C project will focus on the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), the East African Community (EAC) and the Pacific Community (SPC). To collect more input from the main actors operating in the solar thermal market, ECREEE and its partners are organizing two days of face-to-face training for Professionals in the field of solar thermal energy from West Africa. The workshop will take place in the city of Praia, Cape Verde, at the Renewable Energies and Industrial Maintenance Centre (CERMI) on 05-06 June 2024.
In this context that this call for applications is launched for the selection of professionals working in the field of solar thermal energy to participate in this training. Interested candidates are invited to submit their application by submitting their CV in the attached template to the following email addresses cmendes@ecreee.org and dlopes@ecreee.org no later than May 14, 2024.
