3rd ECOWAS Green Hydrogen Steering Committee Meeting

Praia, April 30, 2024 – ECOWAS Centre for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (ECREEE) is pleased to announce the upcoming 3^rd ECOWAS Green Hydrogen Program Steering Committee Meeting, scheduled to take place on May 6, 2024, in Julich, Germany.

A key objective of this meeting is to enhance collaboration and cooperation among members of the Steering Committee and partners for the Operationalization of the Green Hydrogen Regional Strategy and Action Plans 2023-2030 and 2031-2050. Key objectives include reviewing the implementation of ongoing collaboration efforts and assessing the operationalization of the Green Hydrogen Regional Strategy and Action Plans for both 2023-2030 and 2031-2050.

Anticipated outcomes of the workshop include a comprehensive review of ongoing collaboration efforts and the formulation of orientations to drive the operationalization of the Green Hydrogen Regional Strategy and Action Plans.

Participants in this significant event include representatives from various key stakeholders such as the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF), ECOWAS & ECREEE, West African Science Service Centre on Climate Change and Adapted Land Use (WASCAL), Forschungzentrum Jülich Projekt Management (PTJ), and Forschungzentrum Jülich, H2Atlas.
