CONSULTANCY ENERGY DATA EXPERT

The ECOWAS Centre for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (ECREEE), based in Praia, Cabo Verde, is a specialized ECOWAS agency mandated to promote an enabling environment for adopting renewable energy and energy efficiency technology in West Africa. ECREEE’s activities have been focused on mitigating existing barriers hindering the deployment of Renewable Energy (RE) and Energy Efficiency (EE) technologies in the ECOWAS Region. This also includes addressing the lack of knowledge and information barriers in the energy sector.

The unavailability of reliable, up-to-date energy information poses a major obstacle for local and international financiers and investors, policymakers, and project developers in the energy sector.

ECREEE, in partnership with UNDP, is planning to revamp the platform to augment its database, analytical capabilities, and usability at regional and national levels.

In view of the above, ECREEE is seeking to recruit a consultant to support the data management unit in accordance with the Terms of Reference (ToR) attached.
